Yea! O happy day, we sold our Rowlett house on Friday! That is a huge burden lifted. For those who know me you won't be surprised by this little bit of info. When we hit the 90 day mark of having the house on the market without any offers or much traffic, I implemented the Secret. Which is just an Oprah-culture acceptable way for 40ish housewives to use magic, which I think is hilarious, but that's another blog post entirely.
So I printed off our house listing from the Internet. I wrote "SOLD" in big huge letters across it, taped an old key and a quarter to it. I also put the date 9/15/08 underneath "sold" so I could get a fast result, an aggressive move as it was only 2 weeks away. I put the collage in a silver frame, and continually lit candles in front of it. We got our negotiated offer on 9/14/08. It works. You have to believe that the universe will move mountains for you if your put visualization in action.
